On being Bi... Part 2

I always wonder about people... The ones that say being gay is a choice... I wish I had a choice... But I'd probably choose to be a Lesbian, but I was born this way. I can't help that I'm attracted to men...HAHAHA!!!

Anyway, being Bi is sooooo much different than being gay or straight. I like both. But I get excluded a lot more for that fact.... The Lesbian community says, "You like men???!!! That's sooo weird!" (I'm generalizing, but still.)

Straight women say, "EWWWWW! You like women! Don't hit on me!!!" (Again, generalizing... with a bit of dramatization.)

Straight men say, "Oh my god that's sooooo hot. Does this mean we can have a threesome? Can I watch... ect" OR "What?!!! Why?!!!" (Now I'm not dramatizing!)

Gay men say, "Ohhhhhh... cool." and then act afraid of me...

NOT all, but this is a taste of what I've gotten.

Lesbian's typically DO NOT like being with a Bi chick. Why? Because its hard for a bi woman to feel satisfied by just a woman or just a man. This is where the stereotype of bi's loving or wanting to have a threesome comes from. I will say that I am polyamorous, but I don't think that I'd like to have group sex. I'm not against the idea, but I'm not for it either. I've had two lesbian girlfriends. One dom, one sub. My dom girlfriend was too dom for me, as I generally tend to be dom but not butch.

As I like to say, I'm too Dom to be Lipstick, and too Lipstick to be Butch. This is what lead me to the realization that I'm a Dominatrix. I'm an utter sadistic pugilist...

Anyway... Its hard to be bi, we're always standing on a fine line... not being entirely gay, not being entirely straight. We don't exactly fit in with the Gay community, and we don't exactly fit in with the straight community. So its even harder to find our place.

I had a friend who's mother believed in Gays, but didn't believe in Bi's. And that really saddened me... That a Catholic woman could accept gays... but not accept Bisexual as an actual sexual orientation....

Dating Vs. Going Steady

Okay so I was recently asked if dating still exists, this question was posed by a teacher btw, and I said that I still dated. No one else really knew what that meant, so here's my thoughts on the subject. I'm pretty old school, so when someone asks me out on a date I assume they mean a casual meal, not a commitment or anything else. I believe that dating two people isn't cheating, because its having a meal with someone and not taking it any further than that.

Going steady is, of course, steadily dating just one person, otherwise known as being their girlfriend/boyfriend. It seems that people these days assume that dating is going steady, and I think that people can get really confused when it comes to people like me, who still have these old fashioned ideas.

Gatsby Hair Products.... For Women???

If you are at all familiar with Asian products, you will have heard about Gatsby Moving Rubber by Mandom. I have personally tried most of the products except for the Technical Design Clay, the hair waxes, and the Mobile versions of the original products. I really like a lot of the products in the line, in America we identify them by their colors, but the products do have names. Yellow is Nuance Motion, Bright Blue is Cool Wet, Dark Grey/Black is Technical Design Clay, Grey is the Grunge Mat, Red/Pink is Spiky Edge, Purple/Lavender is Wild Shake, Orange is Loose Shuffle, and Bright Green is Air Rise. I'm pretty sure they all have the shampoo-y apple scent. I don't know about the Tech Design though. The scent is pretty soft, but can become a bit bothersome. I just ordered the Tech Design as well as reordered some of my faves, and I will be doing a series of vids on how to use these with long hair. I have found these to retail about $10-15, but it really depends on where you can find them... check Ebay they're a bit cheaper there.

Nuance Motion(Yellow) - Very malleable... You can pretty much move this around all day. This is a typical pomade sort of product, texture wise. Its not greasy, but can be a bit waxy... The waxiness could be because I'm using too much product though. I don't mind the waxiness, because it doesn't stay in my hair and I can just wash it out... Now, my hair is waist long and pretty fine. I like to use this product is when I have my hair up and need to add volume.

Spiky Edge(Red) - This is for Short hair. This doesn't work as well for me because when it sets it hardens a bit and I've found it to be chunky... But this IS for really short hair so... yeah.

Wild Shake(Purple) - Short to medium short styles. I love this one! Its really great for volumizing and for a more wild tousled look, especially great for beach waves!!! I love this one for volume and texture.

Loose Shuffle(Orange) - Short to Medium long hair. This one worked better on my hair so I recommend it to people with long hair. Adds great movement and dimension. Also great for beach waves.

Air Rise(Green) - For Medium short to medium long hair. I like this one too, its great for really bouncy volumized hair. Adds quite a bit of control so its great for holding curls.

Cool Wet(Blue) - Short to medium long. I remember not liking the finish of this... But I've never like the constantly wet hair style... In my opinion it makes people look like a drowned puppy.... Idk I just get that... I would only use a little of this on top of my hair for shine.

Grunge Mat(Light Grey) - Extremely short to medium short. I like this one for adding texture.

Aqua Velva by Aqua Velva

Men's. (Sweet Amber Musk) I love this one, I used to steal it from my dad when I was a kid. Its very fragrant, and smells a bit like flowers. But it's deep too... I think theres patchouli in this. I have a vintage bottle of this, so I don't know if they've changed the formula. But I really love this warmth. 10 out of 10

British Sterling by Dana

Men's.(Woody Oriental) I get the Amber, woods, and moss. Its spicy and fresh, there's this note of mint that I really like about this scent. There's a note that I'm confused about... its licorice!!! I love it!!! It adds the really fresh sweetness to this scent. I'm not getting any citrus, though. 10 out of 10

Iron by Coty

Men's.(Soapy Amber) I love this one!!! Its soapy and sweet and musky!! I also get some Amber and spice, in fact there's something a little minty about it. I like this for men. It develops well on the skin, very masculine. 10 out of 10

Jovan Sex Appeal for Men

Men's.(Amber) Its sweet and smells a little like nag champa. I smell Amber and a unnamed spice. But like most colognes it doesn't develop much on the skin. I like the Nag Champa note to this fragrance. 7 out of 10

Old Spice by Shulton

Men's. (Spice) Old Spice is one of those classic male fragrances! I'm sure everyone has memories of their dad and what he smelled like. I have a vintage bottle of Old Spice. I get sweet vanilla and spice, but nothing else. I like this a lot of the nostalgia it makes me feel. 8 out of 10

Circumcision

I completely disagree with circumcision... I think its a terrible, barbaric practice. I can't imagine being a mother and having my newborn son taken to a room and mutilated, all the while screaming his head off! It really disgusts me. It's completely unnecessary and can actually be really dangerous! The foreskin is meant to protect the penis from debris, such as fecal matter, without the foreskin the penis is completely unprotected! Many times this can lead to serious infection, it can even cause necrosis in the entire penis and then the penis can actually fall off. In circumstances like this gender reassignment surgery is usually the coarse of treatment. Why do people think this is necessary... why do modern cultures find this necessary... Circumcision doesn't prevent AIDS, safe sex practices do. People don't need to be mutilated they need better sex ed! Circumcision doesn't calm men; in fact, studies have shown that circumcision cause long term psychological problems, not just physical problems. Anger issues, erectile dysfunction, infections, impotence, skin bridges, infertility, and so many others. I believe circumcision is a huge problem for men and women alike.

Men are so dumb when it comes to women.....

This is the Best Representative pict I've found!
Right now I'm talking about breasts!!! I'm sooooo glad that I am a bisexual woman... its so much easier. I like a nice pair of breasts and much as the next guy... girl...eh! But men are soo dumb, half the time they look at a woman in a push-up bra, or even worse; a padded bra, and think that they're natural!!! Many times it too obvious that is a push-up bra and the men get disappointed later... Then they complain.... to me... *sigh* what am I going to do with these boys... LEARN TO TELL THE DIFFERENCE!!!! I had to, not that it took to much time or effort, but come on!!

What impresses me.... men...

This is sort of advice for guys...
  1. What impresses me is when I guy is totally honest with me.... when he doesn't come up to me and use a line, but instead, he tells me that he likes how I look and is interested in getting to know me. It may not get you laid, but it might get you a date.
  2. A guy who is willing to go out of his way to 1) have fun, and 2) impress me. Even if it's embarrassing to him, it means a lot to me. Especially if it embarrasses him, because that means he's willing to put your comfort first, and it also means he's willing to try new things.
  3. Being shy, now I'm not saying so shy that he won't talk to me kind of shy. I mean the gentle, sweet sort of shy, sort of like the boy next door. I find this really attractive in men.
  4. Courage. If a guy doesn't have the courage to ask me out himself, and has to get his friends to do it... 1) He doesn't have enough courage to date me. 2) Its almost always a cruel joke...
  5. Equality. If a guy is willing to let me pay for dinner. It shouldn't happen all the time, but taking turns paying for dates and meals is important. Not only does it show equal respect, but it also doesn't make me feel like a gold digger.
  6. Isn't pushy... Be willing to go slow and sort of figure out with your partner how fast your relationship should go.
  7. Humor. If you want to date a girl like me, be okay with cynical humor, and have a humor of your own.
  8. Intelligence. If I can't have a conversation with you, and you can't with me, what's the point?

Okay so this is just my opinion. If you are ever interested in a girl like me, this might get you pretty far.

On being Bisexual...

Okay I'd like to start off by saying that I am NOT a freak.... not a sex addict.... not a sex fiend... not a pedophile... and I am most definitely NOT attracted to all women, or men for that matter.

Now that that's out of the way, we can really start this conversation, and I, maybe, hope to teach at least one person something that they didn't know.

I started to figure out that I was bisexual when I was about nine, I guess. Its not like I'd stare at the girls in gym or anything, I just started having feelings for a really close friend. I had my first girlfriend when I was 12. Though we broke up, we remained friends and are still pretty close. Its kinda weird.... I've always been able to stay friends with my ex girlfriends, but never with my ex boyfriends. Over the past few years.... I've had four "official" girlfriends and seven boyfriends.

While I've been out of the closet with my friends for about five years; I still haven't come out to my family, especially not my parents... So I'm kinda afraid to post this but I think I need to.
