Sasa Haul 5/13/11

I received my package Thursday; it shipped within a week and a half of ordering.
My order total was 47.50, so minus $6 for shipping, I spent 41.50 on these products.

I'll go into detail about these products later. I'll just show you them for now. CLICKABLE PICTURES!!!! ^.^

The first thing I ordered was Two Girls Living Rose Cream. This was the miniature jar;  I always recommend getting sample sizes, otherwise you run the risk of spending a lot of money on a product you can't use. Especially if you have sensitive skin. This was $2.10.

Next I got the C+M Green Tea Whitening and Firming Eye Cream. I've wanted to try this since the first time I saw it on Sasa in February.

This was $4.20 for 20ml

I reordered the Mentholatum Hand Veil Whitening Cream, which if you've been reading, you'll know I love!!!

I ordered the C+M Anti Wrinkle Whitening Cream. Recently I've been noticing smile lines forming under my eyes, probably because I don't drink enough water and I stay up all night. I also have freckles right under my eyes, since you can't really put sunscreen under your eyes. This is my reason for ordering so many whitening and hydrating products. I have used this under my eye and it works perfectly fine.

This was $2.80 for 10 ml.

Next I bought SkinFood Agave Cactus Sun BB Cream. This product has an SPF rating of 36 and a PA rating of +++, which means it offers strong protection from UVA rays. I got this in color #1, which is a bit yellow.

But the cap is really pretty! I got this for $18.70.

C+M Over Night White Moisture Emulsion is next, which is 65ml and was an amazing $2.50!!!  THAT'S AMAZING!!!

Next, which shocked me, is the Arbutin Whitening Serum from Genie in a Bottle. This was 30 ml at $8.40, and Sasa says its a four piece. Here's what I thought it would be... Four tiny bottles of serum, all adding up to 30ml. Here's what I received....

All four of these bottles are 30ml... Together they equal 120ml of product.... Of Whitening SERUM!!! Can you believe it? I can't.... Or at least I couldn't when I opened the package!!! At $8.40 that's a phenomenal price. And the bottles are super pretty, I just wish they came with instructions on how to open them. And a lot of the ingredients are super yummy! I can't wait to try these!!

Mentholatum Hand Veil Spf 15

I bought this from Sasa.com a couple of months ago. I was worried that it contained mentholatum, but it doesn't.

Ingredient List:
  • Urea (An organic ingredient found in Teeth whitening products, skin creams, ect. mainly used in dermatology to rehydrate the skin.)
  • Sodium Hyaluronate (also used in hydration)
  •  Daucus carota (Wild Carrot.)
  • Sativia(There are many variations of this species of plant, but I assume they mean A. sativia which is Oats. )
  • Aloe Barbadensis (Common Aloe, for hydration and cell restoration.)
  • Olea europaea (Olive Oil)
  •  Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil (Jojoba Oil)
  •  Hydrolyzed Keratin (Similar to Lanolin)

  • Butylene Glycol (Skin conditioner. Type of organic alcohol.)
  • Phenyl dimethicone (Silicone derivative.)

  • Polyglyceryl Pentaoleate (Skin conditioner and emollient.)
  • PEG-1 Distearate (Thickener.)
  • Mulberry Bark Extract.
  • Arbutin
NOTE: I'm not sure how complete this list is. Please double check if you have any concerns. If you happen to find anything please let me know! Thanks.

I really like this hand cream. It contains Spf 15 which is nice, especially since it's a whitening hand cream. Contains Arbutin and Mulberry, which both lighten freckles and scars. Since I've been using this cream, I've noticed significant results in the look of the backs of my hands. My freckles have lightened and the tone is more even.

This cream absorbs really quickly and hasn't caused any irritation. It makes my hands super soft and smooth. As far as I've noticed, it doesn't leave a greasy residue, but it does have a mild residue which is mostly noticed when my hands get wet. Its not terribly annoying, but I could see some people having issues with it.

The fragrance isn't terrible, in scent or in power. Its a very mild, sweet scent, and once this cream absorbs it's completely unnoticeable.

Price wise, this is very affordable! I bought this at Sasa.com for $2.50.

Overall, this is one of my favorite products so far. So 10 out of 10.

A Tip on De-Tanning

Wear Leather! Leather pants and Jackets are the best thing to keep out the sun. Leather is 100% spf, blocks uva and uvb rays. Its actually not hot at all, its like the garment equivalent of adobe houses. In Summer it keeps you cool and protected, in winter it keeps you warm and shelters you from the harsh wind. Wearing leather is also a lot easier, less pore clogging, and less smelly than sunscreen.

Review: Mario Badescu Whitening Mask

(2oz. for 24.00) (All Skin Types) I love this product, it was the first thing I tried from Mario Badescu. This mask started working for me in about a week. Its deeply hydrating, and very gentle to the skin. The consistency is like marshmallow cream, and the scent is lightly fruity. This mask contains Kojic Acid, which is a bi-product of the fermentation of malting rice for use in sake, which inhibits the production of melanin. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kojic_acid) 10 Stars
