Pears: Most pears contain a chemical called Arbutin which is also found in the leaves of blueberries, bear berries, cranberries, and mulberries. Arbutin is known for its melanin inhibiting properties.
Pearl Powder: Has A LOT of calcium and when used directly on the face it is a great exfoliator and skin brightener.
Vitamin E
Vitamin C: Magnesium ascorbyl phosphate, L-ascorbic acid, ascorbyl glucosamine, and ascorbic acid. These can be found in most Multi-vitamins or alone.
Citric Acid. You can find this in most citrus fruit.
Milk: Especially Goat milk is high in Lactic Acid. This can be taken internally or externally as a toner.
Sugarcane, Sugar Beets, Unripe Grapes, Cantaloupe, and Pineapple: These foods are naturally high in Glycolic Acid. They can also be taken internally or externally.

Barley, Wheat, Rye: These contain a chemical called Azelaic acid, which can treat acne and inhibit melanin.
