So I'm 19 now...

My birthday was the 23... and honestly I was pretty scared of turning 19. I'm terrified of change... hate ever irregularity in schedule. I received cards and money from my family, which is always appreciated. Thank you to everyone who wished me happy birthday, I appreciate your thoughts!

I got my nose pierced again. This time on the right nostril. I've had my left nostril pierced before, but removed it. I've also had my right nostril pierced, but my nose rejected the piercing and after trying for 20 min, I left the shop with two additional holes in my nose and nothing to show for it. The shop I went to previously used the tube method. Which is done by means of sticking a specialized tube/tool down into the nasal passage so that the needle will hit the tube instead of the septum.

This time I went to a different shop and they used the clamp method. I was in and out within 5-10 minuets. I went to Mountain Ink in Glenwood. The person who did my piercing was Tanya. She was amazing! I'll probably post pictures tomorrow.

Review: Blinc Kiss Me Mascara

I have this in Black, and in a 2.8 g sample tube. This was included in the Sephora Favorites Lashstash Mascara Deluxe Sampler. I love this mascara! Its defiantly the BEST mascara I've ever tried... it even beat out Lash Stiletto! This mascara is soooooo black its perfect!!! This mascara is water resistant, but by no means waterproof, which is why I like it. Its a thin formula and the wand is a regular spoolie. Its the formula that makes this such a great product.

A full sized tube is $25.00 shipping included. I'm not sure if I'd pay that price, but I do love this product. Its not very flaky unless you've pulled at your eyelashes, but just rubbing them a bit doesn't smear or crumble the mascara.

According to blincinc.com, "Formerly known as Kiss Me, blinc is the original mascara invented to form tiny water-resistant "tubes" around your lashes rather than painting them like conventional mascaras. Once applied, these beauty tubes bind to your lashes and cannot run, smudge, clump, or flake, even if you cry or rub your eyes." This statement is very true! The tubes slide off of my lashes with very little force. "Blinc is better than waterproof mascaras. All it takes is the combination of lots of warm water and gentle pressure, from your fingertips, a washcloth or water pressure (i.e. shower) and the tubes will slide off your lashes effortlessly. Upon removal you will actually see the tiny beauty tubes in your hand!"

I give this mascara 10 out of 10.

Tarte MultiplEYE Clinically - Proven Lash Enhancing Mascara and Eyelash Curler

I have this in Black. I only have the sample tube, 3ml, and I'm very glad for that! This is the DRIEST mascara I've ever tried. The first application was the worst. The formula is very thick and its very hard to remove. I was really anxious to try this mascara a full bottle of this mascara is $24.00. I bought this as part of the Sephora Favorites Lashstash Mascara Deluxe Sampler package.

The wand isn't bad, but the formula just isn't for me. Tarte has this to say about their mascara, "Fortify lashes by naturally increasing lash volume by 638% while increasing the appearance of lash length and growth." This is all well and good, but if your have to struggle to get this OFF your lashes its not going to improve the look of them... Basically, because your pulling your eyelashes out...

I have to mention that the Tarte eyelash curler provided in this package is probably the best I've tried! This eyelash curler is available in a set with the Lights, Camera, Lashes Mascara for $15.00.

The Mascara I'll give a 4 out of 10. The Eyelash curler I'll give a 9 out of 10!

Jimmy Choo Parfumes

(Woman's) (Vanilla Florals) The first scent I get is Vanilla. Then soft white florals billow in, but the vanilla remains to smooth out the sweetness of the florals. I don't get Tiger Orchid, nor do I get Patchouli. I just smell sweet white florals with a bit of greenery, and vanilla. Its nice though, comforting, but in a cool way. I would defiantly call this a spring/summer fragrance.

Mentolatum... What is it?

Mentholatum... the chemical, not the brand, is a product that used to be in Vics. I believe it still is. This substance is actually the product of two chemicals menthol and petrolatum. I have a pretty bad reaction to these two products when their together. I can use Petroleum products and I can use products with Menthol, but when these two combine it just overloads my skin. Not in an acne way, I get acne-like bumps and I get headaches. I have no idea why this happens, but it does.

Wow... I think I got hacked!!!

This was so weird... Now I'm following myself?!!! I tired to get on yesterday, but received a strange error, It was bX... something... I forget, but I looked it up and other people had received the same message. I have Ubuntu and Windows on my computer, on Ubuntu, I had checked the box that saved my info directly into the server. On Windows I didn't check that box, and that is what saved me! I had to enter in my user name and password, then type in a code I had Blogger send to my phone, via text, and then I had to enter in my user name and password again, finally it gave me the option to change my password, which I did... and Tada! I'm back. Blogger gave me a message saying that there had been 'suspicious' activity on my account so they had to close it. So if anyone has gotten this error, and hasn't found a way to fix it, that's how to do it!

Summertime by Ella Fitzgerald

Summertime and the livin’ is easy
Fish are jumpin’ and the cotton is high
Oh your daddy’s rich and your ma is good lookin’
So hush little baby, don’t you cry

One of these mornings
You’re goin’ to rise up singing
Then you’ll spread your wings
And you’ll take the sky

But till that morning
There’s a nothin’ can harm you
With daddy and mammy standin’ by

Vov Daily Fresh Wash Off Pack: Berry and Berry

This pack works really well! I just wish it smelled like berries! This pack was so inexpensive! $1.40 for the package, and you can get two-five uses from it. To use this product you apply it to a freshly exfoliated face (for better absorption), and allow 15-20 minutes before washing it off. Vov is a Korean brand, so the instructions and ingredient list is in Korean. But this pack is supposed to be lifting and tightening for the skin. After washing it off, my skin was softer, smoother, more supple, and more translucent.

I guess I understand the phrase "Translucent", though in English it doesn't make sense in a positive light. Usually, to have translucent skin means to have anemia. To have very visible veins is a sign of anemia. Once I believed that "transparent skin" meant clear. Like to have clear skin. But now I see that it means supple, bright, and vibrant skin.

I bought this pack at sasa.com
